Colored Gemstones in the Just Brilliant Design Language

Just Brilliant works with a palette in which colored gemstones and D color lab grown diamonds have distinct roles. Red may concentrate a floral motif, blue may establish a descending rhythm, and green may give a composition its central presence.

Laboratory grown ruby, sapphire and emerald appear in the Maison's collections. Their identities remain separate from lab grown diamonds, even when the stones share a setting.

Three colors, three design ideas

Cherry Blossom combines laboratory grown ruby with mother of pearl, diamonds and rose gold. The contrast is both chromatic and textural: concentrated red sits beside a softer, iridescent surface.

Lustrous Raindrops arranges laboratory grown blue sapphires with diamonds in white gold. Its elongated silhouette gives the color a repeated rhythm beside the face.

Emerald Allure brings a laboratory grown emerald into a frame of marquise lab grown diamonds. The green center and pointed surrounding forms create a different balance again.

These are three compositions with their own identities, rather than one design repeated in different colors.

The meaning of laboratory grown

A laboratory grown gemstone has the essential properties of its natural counterpart, with a different growth origin. Ruby and sapphire belong to corundum; emerald belongs to beryl. Diamond is a different material.

Clear naming matters because appearance alone does not explain what a jewel contains. The gemstone type and its origin should accompany the creative description.

A precise diamond palette

Just Brilliant selects D color exclusively for its lab grown diamonds. That commitment is compatible with a varied colored gemstone palette: a red ruby or green emerald is not a colored diamond.

The Maison's creative task is to bring these individual materials into proportion. Their color, outline and placement must contribute to one considered jewel, with craftsmanship giving the composition its clarity.
