Layali: One Pair of Earrings, Two Expressions

Layali was conceived with more than one silhouette. The Just Brilliant earrings combine a floral motif, lab grown diamonds and an Akoya pearl fringe in 18K white gold, with a detachable setting that allows a change from a chandelier composition to a shorter form.

The transformation is part of the jewel's identity. It gives the wearer two ways to experience the same design language.

The complete chandelier

With the pearl fringe in place, the earring extends downward from its floral diamond motif. Rounded pearl surfaces introduce a softer rhythm below the more sharply defined reflections of the diamonds.

The contrast gives the composition depth. The upper motif provides a recognizable center, while the descending pearls broaden the experience through length and movement.

Just Brilliant's D color standard establishes the color selection for the lab grown diamonds. The pearls contribute a different kind of light and texture.

A shorter expression

Removing the detachable element changes the proportions around the face. The floral component becomes more concentrated, with greater attention given to its own outline.

This is more than a change in length. It shifts the balance of materials and allows a different part of the original composition to lead.

The detachable connection should be handled according to the instructions for the actual jewel, with each component secured before wear.

Related creations, individual roles

Layali shares its pearl and diamond vocabulary with the Noor necklace. Their relationship can be appreciated through material and rhythm, while each responds to a different part of the body.

For Just Brilliant, transformation offers a thoughtful kind of versatility. The creation remains itself in both forms, giving the wearer a choice between a more expansive gesture and a more intimate expression of the same design.
