Beloved Heart: A Familiar Symbol with a Precise Contour

A heart is recognized through its two rounded lobes, the cleft between them and the point below. In a diamond, those features become matters of cutting, proportion and setting.

Just Brilliant explores the shape in the Beloved Heart ring from the Marry Me collection and in the Love Studs. Both give a familiar symbol a concentrated expression in 18K white gold.

The contour carries the meaning

The heart's outline must remain legible within the setting. Its width, the balance of the lobes and the depth of the cleft influence whether the shape appears broad, slender or more emphatic.

The point establishes direction. Around it, the setting needs to respect the silhouette while providing appropriate protection.

Beloved Heart places a lab grown diamond at the center of a restrained ring composition. The Maison's exclusive D color selection gives the stone its color standard, while the outline provides the design's immediately recognizable character.

From one center to a pair

The Love Studs introduce another relationship: two hearts worn across the face. Their proportions and setting orientation contribute to the visual balance of the pair.

The change of format alters the expression of the motif. A ring is encountered on the hand, often at close range. Studs frame the face and must read together as well as individually.

A symbol open to interpretation

The heart can mark a romantic promise, a family connection or a personal milestone. Its familiarity leaves room for the wearer to bring a particular meaning to it.

Just Brilliant's role is to give that meaning a well resolved physical form. The diamond's contour, the scale of the gold and the proportions of the finished jewel keep the symbol clear without requiring an elaborate explanation.
